Big Community

Learn how we try to impact our little corner
of the world.

Serving others is an important value at Big—and part of our mission to “Love God. Love people. Love branding.” Here’s more about the charities and causes we’ve chosen to partner with.

  • Boys & Girls Clubs of Fort Wayne

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Fort Wayne serves over 250 kids, ages 6-18,
daily at its 3 locations. Its after-school and summer programs emphasize
education and career development, health and life skills, and character
development—as well as arts, sports, fitness and recreation.

  • CasiNO: The Coalition for a Better Fort Wayne

CasiNO is a grassroots coalition of businesses, churches and community leaders
working to prevent casinos and gaming from coming to Fort Wayne, Ind.

  • Goodwill Industries

Goodwill provides employment, job training and other community-based
programs for people with disabilities, those who lack education or job experience,
and others facing employment challenges. We believe that work creates the economic
energy that builds strong families and strong communities. Work helps build self-confidence,
friendships and independence. Everyone deserves a chance to have those things in life.
    Goodwill provides that chance.

  • Junior Achievement of Northern Indiana

Junior Achievement of Northern Indiana teaches young people how to succeed
in a global economy. JA programs begin in elementary school and extend through
middle and high school, with the older grades focusing on entrepreneurship,
    work readiness and financial literacy.

  • Matthew 25 Health and Dental Clinic

Matthew 25 Health and Dental Clinic provides free medical, dental and
vision services to the uninsured, low-income residents of Allen County, Ind.

  • The Rescue Mission

The Rescue Mission is a faith-based organization, serving Fort Wayne,
Allen County and its nine surrounding communities. Our mission is to provide,
through the power of Jesus Christ, a home for the homeless, food for the hungry,
and hope for their future. We provide restorative care to men, women and children
who are experiencing a homeless crisis through our four ministries, Charis House,
Restoration House, Life House, and Treasure House.

  • Youth For Christ

YFC is committed to pursuing teenagers in their world, sharing with
them the hope and love that God has for them. In pursuing teenagers, YFC
will consistently strive to develop safe, bridge-building relationships with middle
school and high school students through the different programs that we have to offer.
As students come to know the hope and love that God has to offer, our belief is that
a teenager’s life will be impacted eternally.
